Guest Dr. Saul Bichwa from the University of Dar es Salaam College of Education

This week, our Department is pleased to host a researcher from Tanzania. Dr. Saul Bichwa represents the University of Dar es Salaam College of Education, where he heads the unit specializing in research on Swahili language and culture, i.e. Kiswahili Unit in the Department of Languages and Literature. Dr. Bichwa will take part in Swahili classes conducted at the Department, and on Wednesday at 1:15 p.m. he will give a lecture at our headquarters at Tyniecka 15/17, room 121, entitled “Kiswahili Language and its Potential for African Development.”
