Inauguration of the academic year 2023/2024 at the University of Warsaw

On October 3, 2023 at the headquarters of the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Tyniecka St. in room no. 012 at 10.00 a.m. we organise an inaugural meeting for first-year students of MA studies. Then, at 11.00 a.m. an inaugural meeting for all African studies students will be held. Inaugural lecture entitled “Is scholarly research universal? Some observations from Afrocentric point of view” will be delivered by Prof. Hanna Rubinkowska-Anioł.

We would also like to remind you that the day before, i.e. October 2, the ceremonial inauguration of the academic year 2023/2024 at the University of Warsaw will begin at 2:00 p.m. with the participation of the authorities of our university and invited guests. The event will take place in the Auditorium Maximum on the Main Campus at Krakowskie Przedmieście. The inaugural lecture will be delivered by Dr. Hab. Hieronim Grala from the Faculty of “Artes Liberales” of the University of Warsaw.
