Africa in the center of interest at the PAIH Business Forum

On October 4-5, 2023, the Business Forum organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) took place in Warsaw.

The event was attended by Africanists – Dr. Patryk Zając, representing University of Warsaw, and Dr. Patrycja Kozieł, our graduate, conducting research at the Polish Academy of Sciences.

The second day of the meeting was dedicated to talks about African markets. During numerous panels, Polish and African experts unanimously pointed to Africa as the “continent of the future” where Poland is becoming an increasingly recognizable brand. It was pointed out that knowledge of the cultural and linguistic environment of Africa is the basis for overcoming the distance in Polish-African relations and business contacts.
